It’s a beautiful morning and I’m sitting here at my local café in Garden City/Port Melbourne, typing away and watching people walking their dogs along the beach and then watching people buying takeaways to walk with their dogs along the beach. Tachi has settled and she’s happily laying at my feet finally tired from saying good morning to everyone. She’s a social creature and she truly believes that the world is here to say good morning to her. Being an American Staffy she can get some sideways looks but that doesn’t stop her. For good measure she’ll throw in a good morning LOUD howl just in case someone tries to get away with not saying hello.
We have the entire seated deck to ourselves and I’m staring out to sea…
Then I have a moment as I take in the view… You know the feeling or sensation when you disappear? You just suddenly drift off? I do it a lot! And the other day when it happened, I had the awareness immediately after to ask… “Where did I go?”
The clear answer was, “You just died a little and you came back to life.”
To me, that beautiful non physical space of death takes me into another dimension, calling me to get the attention of my inner being, and I momentarily lapse into a conversation with her. And what we talk about is way more important and interesting than what I was doing in that split moment before (maybe overthinking what to write about or what to do next…). It’s where the inner child resides. There’s a light feeling to it, a kind of breezy, wistful sensation that overcomes me in those moments of … Nothing. And I always come back into this reality with a smile on my face. It happens during readings and in my everyday life, way more than I probably even realise.
This interdimensional play has been going on for as long as I can remember, and I understand it more and more as the need for the higher self to get our attention so that we can practice our other dimensional tuning in. Just like an old fashioned radio tuning into a station. That’s us with spirit.
It’s these lapses in consciousness that open the static portal so that we can access the trueness of life. How else are they going to get our attention when we’re preoccupied with being and doing all day? if we don’t feel into the non physical where the shift is occurring … into the nothing, we become a meaningless part of the matrix. Yes, we can meditate and that’s important too but what about when we are just going about our day to day of being and doing? Allowing the daydreaming phase to enter our being is, I believe, so important.
I see this too as us tuning into our creativity and into our psychic self and becoming more conscious of our ability to do so brings clarity and a deep knowing of our connection to a universal force.
“Creativity is the greatest rebellion in existence” -Osho
Creativity is around us everywhere we look, and it is creativity that takes us into our inner sanctum where control isn’t even a concept. Creativity at its finest only knows freedom. Then the ego attaches, and the judgements start to put pressure on the outcomes.
How do you reach the other side to release from this three-dimensional field? And when you get there what do you do in this space?
I pulled these two cards as I reflected on these words. I pulled them not only once but twice! As I was writing I pulled the cards and then shuffled them back into the deck and later thought that I hadn’t taken a photo. So, for the sake of it I re-asked the question and the same two came out. If I told my ‘statistic loving’ friend this, he would say it’s practically impossible!
The King of Swords and The Magician
The King of Swords has the fortunate ability to recognise BS when he hears it. He also understands that a level head is the best tool he has on hand at any given moment. So detaching and observing is his superpower. This Libra charged energy is also represented by Justice or Athena. Another historic figure who aligns with this card is Joan of Arc or Jeanne d'Arc. Some apparently thought she was crazy, but the truth is she heard divine inspiration. She received guidance and she followed it, changing the course of the 100-year war between France and England. This is what the energy of the King of Swords does, he listens, and he takes conflicts as a form of seeing life from a different perspective and he rises about the mind to see the multiplicity of options that are available. A big call when you put this next to Joan’s campaign, but still important nontheless.
“Problems that remain persistently insoluble should always be suspected as questions asked in the wrong way.” – Alan Watts
The Magician. Ahhhh, those divine inspirations that activate our five senses of spirit, fire, water, earth, and water. When you feel the inspiration. Act on it. When you drop out of reality for a moment listen to the message. (Practice helps). So, if you’re used to feeling a fleeting moment or Ah HA! And you just let it slide. Think again. That’s the magickal moment where a new possibility is presenting itself. Feel into the sensation that your body is vibrating and anchor it in as a memory that can be easily accessed again when needed. Our body is our three-dimensional reality and it allows all the other dimensions to access it whenever we open to this connection.
So, something magickal is happening and we are being asked to detach from any over-thinking to listen to the Magician’s offerings. You’ll wonder why you were doing what you were doing before as you appreciate this new opportunity. This is the initial stages of development and your intentions and desires moving forward will be aligning with your future self. Have zero expectations of the outcome because the Universe has much more in store than what you can ever imagine. Yes, there are crazy things going on in the world and there are also crazy wonderful things going on ‘within us’. We need to access this within to change what’s out there.
